Our Approach
At One to Walk, we start with an introductory meeting to get to know each other better. Together, we discuss the dog’s needs and any preferences of the owner. During this conversation, we check if there is a good connection and coordinate everything for future walks. We can also complete the intake form together, or send it by email so it can be filled out at convenience.
Once the service is arranged, we pick up the dog on the agreed day and time and drive to the chosen location. There, we take the dog for a walk exactly as discussed beforehand. The dog’s wishes and needs are always our main focus.
If a dog is allowed to walk off-leash, we use a live GPS tracker for extra safety, always with permission. The tracker is safely attached to the collar so we can monitor the dog’s location. Naturally, we prefer to keep the dog close by.
During the walk, we always bring a little treat as a reward and for fun and affection. Treats may vary each time, for example small pieces of sausage or dog treats, always discussed beforehand.
Upon returning home, we like to dry the dog with a towel, so it’s helpful if one is ready.
Every walk is a moment of genuine attention and relaxation, with care, safety, and enjoyment as our top priorities.
