A special outing for you and your dog
In the past, Jeroen worked, among others, as a driver and planner for several passenger transport companies. He provided a wide range of rides for businesses, crews, and pilots, especially in regional and healthcare transport. During this work, he met many people, and what he valued most were the genuine and often meaningful conversations he had with them. These conversations could be about anything, making the work truly enjoyable. Sometimes they were also emotional, when people shared stories about more difficult moments in their lives.
Jeroen discovered that he genuinely enjoys offering a listening ear and connecting with people. He noticed how important it is for people to have someone they can talk to and confide in. This experience inspired him to start the 65+ Service. Through this service, he offers not only dog walks but also moments of companionship, attention, and connection.
For those who have a dog but are unable to get out into nature together, Jeroen can take them to the woods, the beach, a park, or a nearby lake. This allows them to relax and enjoy the outdoors, with their loyal companion by their side.
Who is eligible?
This service is specially designed for people aged 65 and over who:
✔️ Have a dog
✔️ Do not have (their own) transportation
✔️ Want to enjoy nature together with their dog
Even if you have limited mobility or use a wheelchair, we will ensure that you can join safely, comfortably, and with enjoyment. If desired, we can provide transportation by car, as long as the wheelchair is foldable and fits in the vehicle. This can be your own wheelchair, or a comfortable, foldable wheelchair provided by One to Walk – Personal Dog Service. This way, you can comfortably enjoy the walk together with your dog, if you wish.

Would you like to bring someone along who doesn’t have a dog?
If you’d like to bring someone with you on the walk, even if they don’t have a dog themselves, that’s no problem, they are warmly welcome to join us. The location will be arranged according to your wishes, either in your own neighbourhood or at a special scenic spot in nature, such as the forest or beach.
💬 If you have other wishes or ideas, everything is negotiable; I’m happy to discuss and customize the experience with you.
Please note: a travel allowance may apply for locations outside the standard working area of Alphen aan den Rijn. The allowance is €6.70 per 20 minutes of travel time and €0.55 per kilometre driven. If multiple people participate in the walk, travel costs will be shared fairly. All prices are always clearly communicated to you in advance.
