About One to Walk

Hi, let me introduce myself!

Hi, my name is Jeroen Buurman. Together with my girlfriend Laura and our three children, Evi, Luuk, and Mila, I live in Alphen aan den Rijn, right in the Green Heart of the Netherlands (known as the "Groene Hart"). Our family is completed by our dogs, Beau and Indy, and our cats, Jacky, Sam, and Micky. Animals play a big role in our home!

Two years ago, we got our first dog. I had always liked dogs, but since having one of our own, my love for them has only grown. You really get to understand them better and notice how much happiness it brings to go out and spend time together. A year later, we welcomed a second dog into our family, which made having dogs at home even more wonderful.


Being outdoors and going out together

I really enjoy being outdoors. Going for a walk with a dog gives me both peace and energy at the same time. For me, it’s a moment to step away from the busyness of the day and enjoy nature, the movement, and of course, the company of the dog. No walk is ever the same, and that’s exactly what makes it so enjoyable.


One to Walk – Personal Dog Walking Service

With One to Walk, I offer calm and personal walks for dogs. I do this alongside my regular job, purely because I enjoy it and because I love spending time with dogs.

I consciously choose one-on-one walks because I really enjoy dedicated time with a dog and being able to focus on them completely. This allows me to give the dog my full attention and pay close attention to what he or she needs.

For me, it ultimately comes down to one thing: a pleasant walk where your dog feels safe, relaxed, and truly seen, while we both enjoy being outdoors together.
