What can you expect?
At One to Walk, I start with an introductory meeting so we can get to know each other better. Together, we discuss what your dog needs and what you prefer. During this conversation, we check if there is a good connection and coordinate everything for future walks. We can also fill out the intake form together, or I can send it to you by email so you can complete it at your convenience.
If you decide to use my service, I will pick up your dog on the agreed day and time and drive to the location we have chosen together. There, I will take your dog for a walk exactly as we discussed beforehand. Your dog’s wishes and needs are always the main focus.
If your dog is allowed to walk off-leash, I use a live GPS tracker for extra safety, of course, only with your permission. The tracker is safely attached to the collar so I can always see where your dog is. Naturally, I prefer to keep your dog close by.
During the walk, I always provide fresh water to keep your dog well hydrated. I also carry healthy reward treats, which I can give as a special treat in consultation with you. Below you will find an overview of what I usually bring on walks.
If it rains, I will dry your dog with a towel. Every walk is for me a moment of genuine attention and relaxation for your dog, with care, safety, and enjoyment as the top priorities.
