What to expect?
How does it work?
At One to Walk, I start with an introductory meeting to get to know each other better. Together, we discuss your dog’s needs and any preferences you may have as an owner. During this conversation, we check if there is a good connection and coordinate everything for future walks. We can fill out the intake form together or, if preferred, I can send it by email so you can fill it out at your convenience.
If you decide to use my service, I will pick up your dog on the agreed day and time. Depending on your preferences, we can walk a beautiful route directly from your home in their familiar neighborhood, or I can drive with your dog to a nice walking location nearby. There, I will take your dog for a walk exactly as discussed beforehand. Your dog’s wishes and needs are always my main focus.
Safety and extra care
When your dog is allowed to walk off-leash, I always use a live GPS tracker for extra safety, in consultation and with your permission. This tracker is securely attached to the collar so I can monitor your dog’s location. Naturally, I prefer to keep your dog close to me at all times.
During the walk, I always bring a small treat as a reward and for extra fun and affection. The treats may vary each time, for example, small pieces of sausage or dog biscuits, and will always be discussed with you beforehand.
Upon returning home, I will gladly dry your dog with a towel. It is therefore helpful if a towel is ready for me.
Every walk is a moment of genuine attention and relaxation, where care, safety, and enjoyment are always my top priorities.
